Frank Harmon, Jr. papers, 1930-2006.

The collection consists of a scrapbook, printed material, photographs, and a Peabody Award. The scrapbook has been taken apart. Most of the items from the scrapbook represent Harmon's youth - pictures of him and his mother, items about school and his early working life. A copy of his book, As A Man Is is included, along with a photo of the Peabody Awards dinner from 1954.

Frank Harmon was born October 3, 1929 in Dalton, Georgia. He was the son of the late John Frank Harmon, Sr., and Glennice LeFurgey Harmon. He was a Senior Account Executive for the Vernon Company, a promotional products distributor in Newton, Iowa. He joined the company in 1964, serving as district manager for Northeast Georgia and South Carolina for 33 years.
